Simone Verrone MA, NCC, LPC
Simone is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and an EMDR Therapist. She holds an Undergraduate Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master's Degree in Community Counseling. In addition to her private practice, she is also currently a post-graduate therapist at the Denver Family Institute. Her experience as a clinician includes work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship & attachment difficulties, and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). As an EMDR Therapist, Simone has worked with many clients who were living with uncomfortable and often debilitating consequences of traumatic experiences. Her goal is to provide counseling that offers a respectful and confidential process for her clients, within a warm, empathetic, and understanding therapeutic relationship.
Professional Memberships: Simone is a member of the ACA (American Counseling Association), AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy), NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors), and of the EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association).
